Listen to your Inner Voice
If you never go on vacation, work around the clock, and feel that no one but you can do your work – your mental and physical health are in serious danger. Stop trying to suppress your inner voice, who’s telling you it’s time to make some serious changes in your life. You probably know very well what the prescription is: balance out your work with play.
Don't stand in a bucket trying to lift yourself up by the handle.– Winston Churchill
We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. -George Bernard Shaw
Bruno's commentary
People whose work and play are in balance are composed and self-assured, radiating inner strength. You can be this way, too, and you don't need a doctor or a pharmacist to get you there. Just listen to your inner voice. It will tell you what you have to change in order to get in balance. Your inner voice never lies. And the wonderful thing is – this "medication" has no side effects.
Are you listening to your inner voice? Trust me – it’s worth it.
